Partnership meeting

On 29-30 August in Oslo (Norway) another partnership meeting was held as part of the project “Key competences for people 50+”.

The meeting was attended by Partners from Norway, Spain, France and Polish.

At the meeting, the final versions of the Guidelines for adult sector staff and institutions on the use of courses developed in the project in earlier phases were approved. We also talked about the dissemination of project results.   It was a successful meeting, which contributed to the further development of the project and closer cooperation between the partners.

 PR3 in Progress!

We are pleased to announce that within our KK50+ project, we are continuing our efforts with a focus on the third phase of development, PR3. Our team is working diligently to prepare training materials and courses that will provide valuable knowledge and skills to our participants.

The goal of PR3 is to further engage with the needs of our community and provide tools to help our participants develop and achieve their goals.

Stay updated with our progress within the KK50+ project. Thank you for your support and trust!

Work in KK50+ is still in progress!

In collaboration with our partners from France, Spain, and Norway, we continue to create content for Outcome No. 3: “Guidelines for trainers/educational organizers on implementing and conducting courses on key competencies for individuals aged 50+”.

We would like to remind you that the guidelines will be based on insights from the testing phase and will provide tips for trainers on transitioning between course modules, utilizing exercises, and much more.

We are getting closer to finalizing Outcome No. 2, which consists of four courses on key competencies for individuals aged 50+. We are also preparing translations into our partners’ languages.

Stay tuned for more updates coming soon!

What’s new in KK50+ project

We are working on Result No. 3!

In cooperation with our Partners from France, Spain and Norway, we are developing the content for the Guidelines for trainers/training providers for the implementation and delivery of key competences courses for people 50+.

The guidelines will include, among other things, the conclusions from the testing phase and will include tips for trainers, ways of “mixing” the different modules of our courses, ways of using exercises, etc.

What’s going on in our project

Following the TPM in Spain, based on the arrangements made, we are finalising our work on Result No. 2, i.e. four courses on key competences for people 50+. We are preparing translations of the courses into the national languages of the Partners.

All of this is happening to be able to share the results of our work with you in Autumn by making the courses available to you free of charge 🙂

Third partnership meeting

On March 7 this year, the 3rd international meeting of the Partners of the project “Key competences for people 50+”, Erasmus+ took place. The host organization was our Spanish Partner – ID.

During the meeting, the Partners presented reports on testing courses in France, Institut Saumurois de la Communication (ISC), Norway, Stiftelsen Mangfold and Arbeidslivet (MiA), Spain, Inercia Digital (ID) and Poland (Deinde).

Further work related to the third result of the project – Guidelines for organizations wishing to implement courses in the field of key competences developed and tested in the project – is also planned.

Educational partner organizations have so far developed and tested 4 courses profiled for people over 50 years of age: Course in Information Creation and Understanding, Course in Digital Competence, Course in Personal Entrepreneurship and Course in Personal, Social and Learning Skills.

Each course consists of complete documentation allowing trainers to prepare and conduct classes, including: syllabus, trainer’s manual containing detailed lesson plans, training materials for participants (presentations, exercises), questionnaires, tools assessing the achievement of educational goals. After completion of substantive work in the project, there will be a dissemination phase and the documentation of the courses will be made available free of charge, on a free license, to all interested persons and institutions.

Participants learned to transform their ideas into a plan and action by creating personal projects.

Our trainers have prepared trainings taking into account the specificity of learning for people 50+. The first of them took place on 11.01.2023. Participants learned what self-awareness is, how to distinguish between internal and external self-awareness and how to use the 4P method.

People involved in the project shared their impressions. Any comments will be taken into account and used in the next courses, which will take place soon.

At the testing stage, the opinions of participants and trainers are collected in order to create the final version of the courses.

Then, all documentation enabling the course to be conducted will be made available free of charge (on a free license) to all interested parties.
